Colour Schemes

When considering the possible colour schemes that would be included in both my film poster and also magazine cover I feel that two contrasting colours will work well together as these would make the publications look more appealing towards my target audience. The target audience for both publications would be young mature to middle aged as they would prefer formal and organised layouts and colours rather than clashing and messy. The colours I have decided to use are mainly red and black as this would keep a consistent Housestyle within my media package and also refer to the basic conventions towards the horror genre.
